Glannaharee East holds a nine-foot stone marker beside Muine Dubh, recorded by Bowman in 1934 and still viewed with awe by local residents. The exact burial site has vanished from memory, leaving behind a tall silent shape that suggests death once entered this ordinary landscape. People may have placed a body beneath that stone before the name and purpose faded, yet the marker remains large enough to be seen and strange enough to be remembered.

Bowman (1934, 537) recorded 'leacht, or Sepulchral monument (9ft. by 7ft. 9in.) on the side of Muine Dubh. This is looked on with awe by the residents.' No local knowledge of burial in this townland.
