Under Bleach Road in Friarsinch and Dunmore, several people were buried so shallow that a new services duct cut through them. The road marks a townland boundary, suggesting the graves stretch across both names while a sharp field drops toward the River Nore not far away. Whoever laid them down chose a busy edge rather than a remote field, trusting the road to keep their place marked.

Burials were uncovered during the construction of a new underground services duct beneath the existing road surface of Bleach Road (Flynn 2019, Archaeological Licence 16E0190). There is a field immediately W of the road which drops sharply down to a flood meadow along the E bank of the River Nore (ibid.). The river is c. 150 SW of the burials at it nearest point. Below the W side of the road (D 0.3m), a disturbed E-W orientated inhumation and an amount of disarticulated human skeletal remains were recovered (ibid.). Indications suggest that the assemblage includes several individuals (ibid.). The road also forms the boundary between two townlands and it is probable that the burials extend eastward into Dunmore townland and westward into Friarsinch townland.
