Under a slab at Dunowen Castle in County Cork, a decayed human skeleton waited for discovery. Westropp recorded the find in 1914, preserving the quiet shock of bones hidden beneath stone. The dead person remains nameless, yet the chamber still holds the weight of that suspended life.
According to Westropp (1914, 106) a decayed human skeleton was found under a slab at Dunowen Castle (CO144-041002-).
