What is recorded here

Two Spanish Armada sailors may still lie buried in Com Dhíneol Thuaidh, their bones forgotten beneath the Kerry soil since the fleet fled or broke. The sea gave them up, the land took them in, and nobody marked the hole. They did not even keep a name for the men, only a shadow of two bodies waiting under the grass.

Two inhumed burials (KE052-059003- and KE052-059004-) were found here, reputedly associated with the Spanish Armada (local information; UCC). The above description is derived from J.
