Cobweb gate, Castlesaffron, County Cork. A stone coffin held a large man and his sword about a century before Jones wrote in 1901. The chamber may have waited for rain, boots or curiosity. It gave up a body, not a name.

Jones (1901, 244) recorded that 'about 100 years ago a stone coffin was found at Crobeg gate, containing the relics of a man of large proportions with a sword beside him.'
