Barrahaurin holds several burials in cists of dry-built walling, yet no exact location survives. Raftery recorded the claim in 1941 without further detail, leaving the dead suspended between memory and erasure. The stones may still lie scattered under Mid Cork soil, waiting for someone reckless enough to listen for the shape of what is missing.

Raftery (1941, 303) recorded 'several burials which are said to have been interred in cists of dry-built walling. No further details available'. Exact location not known.
