Clear water flows through the hollow, marking the buried children and proving the ground still remembers what it took.

Listed as 'Burial ground' in the RMP (1996). Situated towards the bottom of an E-facing slope. A subrectangular grass-covered mound (dims. of base 13.8m E-W; 11.2m N-S; dims. of top 11.5m E-W; 10m E-W; H 0.2-0.6m) with another slight mound (diam. 2.5m; H 0.1m) on top towards the edge at SW. There is one stone visible on the mound and another outside the perimeter at NE but other stones can be felt underfoot. There is a bullaun stone (CL033-062002-) at the site. A subrectangular cairn, likely dating to the Bronze Age; its low height and grass-covered form suggest a degraded funerary monument, typical of early to middle Bronze Age burial practices in Ireland.
