Burial ground in Unknown Townland

You can still picture the low mound in County Dublin, the one swallowed by development after 1999 tests pulled three east-west bodies from beneath it: two adult men and one young person between twelve and sixteen. They may have been a family, a teacher and pupil, or travellers who died together and were hidden in a hurry. Early Christian hands laid them down, then forgetting took over, and the land moved on without remembering their names.
