Killeenah in Tracashel was the last resting place of the Ranties, an isolated group living on the eastern slopes of Sugarloaf Mountain. Caulfield recorded the ancient burial ground in 1870, though its exact position has slipped from modern knowledge. The sea townlands may still hold their quiet dead beneath grass or stone, waiting for someone brave enough to listen for the shape of the pit.

Caulfield (1870, 269) described an isolated group of people called 'Ranties' who lived on the eastern slopes of Sugarloaf Mountain in eight townlands bordering the sea. In one of these townlands, Tracashel, he recorded 'an ancient burial-place called Killeenah - the last resting place of the Ranties' (ibid.). This burial ground has not been precisely located.
