Young adult male bones in a shallow west-east pit and juvenile skull fragments surfaced during quarrying in Sliguff, County Carlow, in June 2001. The buried bodies may have belonged to a family, a travelling group or someone the community forgot. Stone, soil and silence kept what ordinary life stopped remembering.
Human remains of a young adult male aligned W-E in a pit, were discovered during quarrying in June 2001. Some fragments of a juvenile skull were also discovered suggesting that there may be other burials in the vicinity. (Cahill and Sikora 2011, Vol. 2, 297-300)
