Keel is a burial ground on a south-facing slope in Letter West, County Cork. Briars and gorse still crowd the irregular area, hiding loose stones and the shapes of old loss. The land keeps its dead beneath a tangled green skin, waiting for someone patient enough to listen through the thorns.

On a S-facing slope, overgrown with briars and gorse bushes. According to local information, an irregular area (c. 25m NE-SW; c. 20m NW-SE), is known locally as the 'keel' and it was used as a burial ground. Some loose stones were noted on the surface, but any further examination was impossible due to the dense overgrowth.
