Moyfenrath Lower Bay holds a burial ground where human bones appeared along a gravel ridge in 1986. The remains left the surface and entered the National Museum, carrying forgotten lives into public memory. Before that discovery, the ridge may have marked death itself, a quiet edge where people laid others to rest beneath open sky.

In 1986 human remains were discovered along a gravel ridge. The bones ( 1986:143) found on the surface were brought to the National Museum(NMI)(Cahill & Sikora 2011, vol 2, 503). Compiled by: Geraldine Stout Date of upload: 13 March 2013
