What is recorded here
Jerpointchurch holds a burial ground where the dead have watched the living pass for centuries. The site remains active in memory even when formal records lag behind, inviting wonder rather than certainty. People may have laid their dead beneath open sky, marked the soil with stone or prayer, and trusted the earth to keep what flesh could not. That much is plain. The rest belongs to imagination, not fact.
