Grass and time have buried the names, but the stones still mark the rows where the dead lay within the moated site at Graddoge. The concentration of graves in the northeast and southeast sectors suggests a deliberate choice rather than a random scatter. People may have walked past the water and selected a quiet corner for the departed, trusting the land to keep them safe.

Within a moated site (GA044-062----). A series of grassed-over set stones indicating graves are concentrated in NE and SE sectors of the moated site.
