In 1926 a cemetery of at least 24 extended inhumations was uncovered while digging sand on McNally's farm (Kilgannon 1926, 308-10). The precise location is unknown.
Neolithic passage tomb; dates to the 4th millennium BCE. Part of the larger Carrowmore megalithic complex, one of the earliest and most significant Neolithic burial sites in Ireland.
