Ardnagroghery holds two forgotten burial grounds: a children's site at the south edge and the disused Bonnavaun to the west. Neither has a visible marker or exact boundary, so both have become edge-places where memory loses its shape. The children's ground is the sharper loss because it suggests small lives buried outside the main church order, perhaps during fever, famine or religious exclusion. The Bonnavaun sounds like an older Christian or secular ground abandoned when the townland changed its centre. Together they imply that Ardnagroghery has repeatedly moved its dead aside, hiding what it no longer wished to face.

'At the south side of the townland is a children's burial ground (CO149-008---) while to the west is site of an old disused burial ground called the Bonnavaun' (O'Donoghue 1986, 18).
