An Baile Uachtarach Theas holds a burial ground west of the southernmost chalets in the Dún an Óir Hotel complex. Bones emerged during sand removal, suggesting the beach itself has swallowed and returned human remains. The hotel now occupies land that once belonged to the dead, forcing guests to walk above ancestors they never knew.
