What is recorded here

Burgh Island, located off the coast of Devon in South Hams, has been inhabited since at least the Bronze Age and was once connected to the mainland by a tidal causeway. It is notable for its historic Tresco Abbey Hotel, built in the 19th century, and its role as a filming location for the 1967 James Bond movie *Diamonds Are Forever*.
