There is a small, rectangular bullaun stone (dims 0.43m x 0.42m; H 0.25m) with a single basin (dims 0.25-0.27m; D 0.1m) beside the head of a high cross (ME012-033002-) at the NE angle of the graveyard (ME012-033001-). Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 18 August, 2014
This bullaun stone, associated with a high cross in a graveyard, likely dates to the early medieval period (5th–11th centuries AD) and may have been used for ritual Christian purposes, such as baptisms or the preparation of holy water.
