What is recorded here

Lies on the line of the levelled S wall of a church nave (WI007-064001-) in a graveyard (WI007-064001-). A small roughly rectangular granite block (L 0.6m; Wth 0.4m; H O.3m) contains a well-carved basin (diam. 0.16m; D 0.10m) towards its E end. Probably dates to the early Christian period (5th–10th centuries AD) and may have been used for ritual washing, possibly associated with the adjacent church. Bullaun stones are often linked to holy sites and may carry Christian or pre-Christian symbolic significance.
