Bullaun stone in Kilcolman is a backache stone inside a possible ecclesiastical enclosure near St. Colman's holy well. Its shallow circular hollow may have been worn by kneeling, oil or repeated prayer. People nearby may have gone to it when their bodies ached, not only when they feared death.

Likely dating to the early medieval period, the bullaun stone may have been used for ritual purposes, possibly in connection with the nearby ecclesiastical site associated with St. Colman. Such stones are often linked to Christian or pre-Christian traditions, including the preparation of holy water or as a site for pilgrimages.
