Kilteevoge Old Church stands in Donegal, its rubble walls and ashlar quoins surviving from a building rebuilt by the widow of Thomas Davies in 1691. The Bullaun stone is set beside a modern gap in the graveyard wall, a rock-basin locked in concrete above the buried church. People may have knelt there, poured water into the hollow, or simply touched the worn surface before leaving the old place behind.

Kilteevoge Old Church (DG068-023): The inscription on the silver communion plate donated by the widow of Thomas Davies to the parish church of Kilteevoge in 1691 records that she rebuilt the church (Maguire II, 1920, 61). It was restored in 1733 and continued in use until St. John's Church was built at Glenmore in 1877-9 (Rowan 1979, 307-8). The surviving church ruins, 15.7m by 7.3m internally, are built of rubble with ashlar quoins composed of vertically set, narrow blocks. The remains of the E gable 1.5m high are set into the W end of the graveyard (DG068-023001-) mound; there is a rock-basin (DG068-023002-) set in concrete on top of the wall beside a modern central gap.
