Bullaun stones mark repeated prayer or suffering, yet this flat sandstone slab in Cill Mic Cranróg keeps its own quiet company beside a burial ground and possible early ecclesiastical enclosure. Its small circular hollow may have received water, oil, a kneeling knee or the pressure of someone thinking through darkness. The forestry now holds it instead of open fields, but the stone still presents one smooth edge and one repeated dimple, waiting for the body to remember what tongues have forgotten.
In forestry, c. 55m S of burial ground (CO069-022----) and possible early ecclesiastical enclosure (CO069-083----). Flat sandstone slab with circular hollow (diam. 0.32m; D 0.07m) at N edge.
