Situated on flat poorly drained cut away bog, with good views of Lough Macnean Upper to the E. This is an area where the landcover is dominated by blanket bog and heath. Large irregular shaped bedrock of carboniferous sandstone with single deep basin (diam. 0.21m; D 0.2m) on its surface, this rock has been revealed as the bog has been cutaway. This is one of several bullauns that have been revealed beneath the cutaway bog. Nearby bullaun stones (LE009-011----; LE009-012----) are located 60m to the SE and 190m to the NW respectively. This feature may have been caused by natural erosion of the carboniferous sandstone and may not be the result of human activity. Compiled by: Caimin O'Brien Date of upload: 29 January, 2016
