What is recorded here
On a S facing slope of reclaimed grazing, an earthfast granite boulder, roughly triangular in plan (L 2.2m; Wth 1.4m; H 0.48m). The top surface of the boulder is relatively flat, and cut into the wider end is an oval bowl-shaped basin (diam. 37 x 35cm; D 12cm). There is a hole cut into one side of the basin and a second similar hole cut into the other end of the boulder, these holes appear to be the remains of an attempt to blast the stone.
