A bullaun with a single hollow discovered in 2009 by the Yewtree Restoration Commitee amongst a group of stones from the boundary wall of the graveyard (WI047-002----). Now positioned on top of the boundary wall beside the stile leading into the graveyard. Compiled by: Claire Breen Date of upload: 22 August 2013

Likely dating to the early medieval period, the bullaun stone may have been used for ritual purposes, such as the preparation of holy water. Such stones are often associated with Christian or pre-Christian traditions, and local folklore may link them to healing or spiritual practices.
