What is recorded here
Bullaun is a bullaun stone in Cloonglasny Beg, County Roscommon, Ireland. It lies at the bottom of a south-facing slope within a large enclosure. A sandstone boulder measuring 0.65 by 0.55 metres and rising 0.4 metres appears sixty metres south, though it lacks a basin.
At the bottom of a S-facing slope and within the large enclosure (RO017-143001-). A bullaun stone is marked on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map just S of the castle (RO017-143002-), but it may be the sandstone boulder (dims 0.65m x 0.55m; H 0.4m) with no basin that is visible now but located c. 60m to the S.
