Date of upload: 9th August, 2010.
Dated to the early medieval period, bullaun stones like Bullan, Drumlohan were often associated with Christian or pre-Christian ritual practices, possibly used for ceremonial washing or as holy sites linked to local saints. Their placement on prominent landscape features suggests a role in both spiritual and communal life.
