Pair of cast-iron mooring posts, c. 1850, comprising of a tall tapered post, and a short post with curved top having relief lettering - reading - 'J. Steell and Sons Cork 1877'.

These mid nineteenth century mooring posts form an interesting group with the mooring posts to the south-east. They are an interesting physical reminder of the formerport use of this area of the city and make a notable addition to the streetscape.
