What is recorded here

On the W side of a NW-SE valley, a little below the crest of the ridge in reclaimed grassland. Within the interior of a ringwork (KK013-059001-), on the W side, aligned E-W. There remains of a building (dims. 5m N-S; 10m E-W) which is immediately N of and at right angle to a probable rectangular house (KK013-059002-). The N and W sides of this building are conjoined with the bank of the ringwork (int. H 0.5-0.6m below slight berm on inner face of bank), the S side is conjoined with the house to the S (H above int. of KK013-059002- 0.45m; H above int. of KK013-059004- 0.45m; Wth at top 1.8m; overall Wth 4.5m). There is another building (KK013-059005-), also aligned E-W, immediately S of the rectangular house. There is another building (KK013-059006-) in the SE of the interior, aligned NE-SW inside the inner bank of the ringwork. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 24 June 2015
