What is recorded here
One of four buildings (SL014-076044-; SL014-076045-; SL014-076046-; SL014-076052-) located on a narrow ledge on the N side of Knocknarea Mountain, it consists of the remains of a building that appears to comprise two rooms which differs in construction and size. The E room (5m x 2m) is long and narrow (2x5m) and has a possible entrance in the E wall. Immediately W is a slightly larger room (4m x 3m) set at right-angles to it. From their location on the isolated and limited ledge it is suggested that these buildings may have been used in one and the same context. What that context was, and especially its date, remains unknown (pers. comm. Stefan Bergh, 14 August 2014).
