Brown Willy is the highest point in Cornwall, with an elevation of approximately 485 metres. It is a prominent granite upland associated with the Cornubian Batholith and is surrounded by folklore, including tales of the Tinner's Man and the Tinner's Wife. The hill matters as a key geographical and cultural landmark in the region.
