The Brighton Toy and Model Museum is housed in Victorian cellars beneath Brighton Station and was founded in 1971 by John and Joan Taylor, who collected toys and models to preserve the history of childhood and model-making. It is important as a unique example of a specialist museum in a historic industrial setting, showcasing over 150 years of toy and model history.
