Single-arch bridge, built c.1903, carrying road over former Letterkenny to Burtonport railway line. Segmental arch with smooth rendered and dressed voussoirs, rusticated coursed sandstone walling and parapets with rusticated copings.

This well-constructed bridge is one of many along this disused railway line and is evidence of the expansion of the transport infrastructure in the region in the early twentieth century. The intact arch is a demonstration of skilled craftsmanship. The rendered voussoirs contrast with the rusticated masonry completes an appealing composition.
