Triple-arch road bridge over Dromore River Upper, built c.1830. Elliptical arches with rubble stone voussoirs and rubble stone soffits. Coursed rubble parapet walls with vertical stone copings, and coursed rubble spandrels. V-shaped cutwaters to west elevation, built of coursed rubble stone. Rendered plinth course. Located south of bridge of Dundalk to Enniskillen branch of Ulster Railway at Shantonagh Junction, north of Derryvally Presbyterian churches and school.

This triple-arch bridge spans the flood plain of the Dromore River, to the west of a former flax and corn mills at Derryvally. This well-executed stone bridge, built at the site of an earlier crossing point, is a picturesque landmark on the river, allowing traffic to Derryvally Presbyterian complex to the south with two churches and a school. The bridge is located directly south of Shantonagh Junction, a notable feature on the Dundalk to Enniskillen Branch of the Ulster Railway. The bridge employs local materials in its construction, with rubble limestone to the voussoirs, spandrels, parapet wall and buttresses. That the bridge remains in use in its present form is testament to the quality of its construction.
