What is recorded here

Four-arch limestone road bridge over the River Morningstar, built c. 1820, with dressed walls with cast-iron ties and roughly dressed parapet walls. Cut voussoirs to the round-headed arches. V-cutwater to east elevation.
This solidly built, large sweeping bridge forms a prominent landmark in Bruff. Spanning the Morningstar River in a curve of graceful arches, the bridge is a technical, architectural and engineering achievement.
