Branksea: North Sea

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Branksea: North Sea as Steamship (20th Century)-(1940). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

The *Branksea* was a 20th-century steamship lost in 1940 in the North Sea. It sank during World War II, likely due to enemy action or mine strike, with no survivors recorded; its wreck remains a known war grave.
