Bishop's Rock stands sixty metres from its true boundary, displaced four decades ago yet still wearing solution holes that local tradition treats as a holy water font. The rectangular block measures three metres long, two wide and one point four high, large enough to anchor a parish line but rude enough to confuse when relocated. It is no longer a border marker in the legal sense, but it remains a boundary of memory, separating the rock from the field where it belongs.

Rectangular flat-topped block of stone (H 1.4m; L 3m; Wth 2m) known locally as Bishop's Rock. Solution holes on upper surface, traditionally regarded as holy water font. Stone removed from original position on parish boundary c. 40 years ago. It now lies c. 60m to NE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
