Barryroe Bay, Templeomalus Parish: a ringfort stands in West Cork. Inside its northern half, a shallow circle or stone line may mark a small dwelling. The main fort claimed the field and memory; the inner hut disappeared beneath grass, rain and time.
In ringfort (CO135-057----). Possible hut site in N half of interior. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
