Boulder-burial stands in Tullaha, County Kerry, a chamber built from huge stones waiting for the dead. Whether it buried one chief or several families remains unknown, but the size of the rocks suggests pride and fear of forgetting. The chamber may have held a person, a child or a loved one lost too soon. In that dark box, love became stone and memory took a shape the storm could not erase.
