Boreray, Cailleacha Dubha

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Boreray, Cailleacha Dubha as Chambered Cairn (neolithic). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Neolithic chambered cairn; dates to the early to middle Neolithic period (c. 3500–2500 BCE). It is significant as part of the broader network of megalithic tombs in the Hebrides, reflecting early communal burial practices and social organisation in prehistoric Scotland.
