What is recorded here

Bole Hill rises to approximately 250 meters above sea level and is part of the broader South Yorkshire moorland landscape. Its prominence is modest, but it contributes to the region's upland character and offers views across the surrounding valleys. The area is underlain by Carboniferous limestone and shale, typical of the Pennines, and while no specific folklore is recorded, such hills often feature in local traditions of walking and rural heritage.
