Boat How Crags is a sea cliff or coastal rock feature composed of Carboniferous limestone, formed approximately 340 to 320 million years ago through the accumulation of marine sediments. It is notable for its exposure of sedimentary rock layers, which provide insight into the geological history of the Cumberland region.
