Freestanding rubble stone triple limekiln, built c.1860, now disused. Open furnace with limestone lintel to front (west) elevation. Loading shoot to the rear of façade.

The survival of a limekiln in such a good state of repair is a rare occurrence. Such structures stand as testament to the major period of agricultural and industrial expansion in Ireland of the nineteenth century. It forms part of a group of demesne related structures with the gate lodges, farmyard complex and ice house, which were built to meet the requirements of the grand and extensive Blarney demesne.
