Belas Knap

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Belas Knap as Long Barrow (neolithic). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Neolithic long barrow; dates to the early to middle Neolithic period (circa 3700–3000 BCE). It is significant as a rare and well-preserved example of a chambered tomb in the Severn-Cotswold tradition, reflecting early communal burial practices in southern Britain.
