Mottled hill
Roughly 600 metres high, Beinn na Lap is a prominent hill in its local landscape, formed from ancient metamorphic rocks typical of the Scottish Highlands. Its name, Gaelic for "Hill of the Lap," may reflect historical or cultural associations with the area's early inhabitants.
