Beinn na Cloich rises to approximately 500 metres and is part of the rugged landscape of the Western Isles. Its name, meaning "Mountain of the Stones," suggests a prominent rocky character typical of the region's ancient, weathered geology. As a named feature in Na h-Eileanan Siar, it contributes to the cultural and geographical identity of the area.
