Beinn Bhearnach rises to approximately 667 metres and is part of the rugged terrain of the Cowal Peninsula in Argyll and Bute. It is composed primarily of ancient granitic rock, typical of the region's mountainous landscape, and contributes to the area's significance for both geological study and recreational hillwalking.
