Beinn a' Chuallaich rises to approximately 700 metres and is part of the Sidlaw Hills range in Perth and Kinross. Its name, meaning "Hill of the Hound" in Scottish Gaelic, reflects local folklore or historical associations with hunting or territorial markers. The area is geologically significant, featuring sedimentary rocks from the Carboniferous period.
