Explorer Tom Westminster Abbey is the only medieval abbey I know that would charge you a fortune just for the privilege of ignoring your questions. It’s sitting in Dumfries and Galloway looking thoroughly unimpressed by my enthusiasm. Give it a pat on the way past, it's had a long life.
